Dataman are now in their 16th year, having sold in excess of 21,000
programmers to date. They manufacture and sell only one product, namely
the SOFTY portable programmer/emulator. Now in it's fourth version.

The SOFTY-FOUR (S4) is totally self contained and truly handheld.
Containing up to 4Mbits of memory, a fast processor, supertwist display,
integral keyboard and a 115,200 serial port for remote PC operations.

The S4 comes complete with mains charger, emulation lead and MS-DOS
comms software. Straight out of the box, S4 can program 8Mbit EPROMs
and handle most memory devices such as FLASH, EEPROM and serial EEPROMs.
A three year guarantee comes with the product, and the user list makes
for impressive reading. All device upgrades are free for life, and can
be easily downloaded from either of their high-speed bulletin boards.

S4 costs $795 Dollars in the USA

I have the Needhams SA-10 standalone programmer. It's expensive, but it's
very nice. Works as advertised and their tech support people were nice.
You may want to note in your ad that it can also be upgraded in the field
when software revisions are available.
